Emma is a UK citizen who has lived and worked in seven countries, in three regions of the world. Her diverse international professional and personal experiences enable her to have direct insight into many business, cultural and legal issues for international and local clients that relate to investing, relocating/living and doing business in the Turks and Caicos Islands, often in conjunction with other countries.
After obtaining a Bachelor of Laws in 1993, Emma was called as a Barrister to the Bar of England & Wales (1994), Lincoln’s Inn, London. After spending the first decade of her career between London and Paris, Emma relocated offshore in 2005; and the Turks and Caicos Islands have become home and her primary professional base. Since 2005, she has gained extensive comparative experience of the Northern and Eastern Caribbean, Bermuda and European offshore jurisdictions; advising individuals and companies based in North America, Europe and Turks & Caicos on their international investments, businesses and personal planning.
